Better late than never

Wow!! 2 comments on the blog, that's more than what i expected!
Every time I have been on the internet I have been checking out the blogs out there...there are millions of them!!!! Amazing stuff and not so amazing (actually.....crap if I am honest). But the idea that people have the time to actually sit at their desks at work and post entries during the day is amazing!!!

Go do some work you lazy gits!!!

Major things that have happened since the last posting:
  • New baby on the way
  • New house being purchased
  • Not going to big city anymore
Amazing stuff in my little world!!
The scan showed the little body, only a few inches, moving and the little heart beat was very obvious too...I was truelly amazed bythe pictures. Everything seems fine.
Big brother to be is very excited too. Everyone's very excited actually.
I have to be honest though, I find the whole pregnacy thing very unfair to women, not that anything can be done about it so no need to dwell on it but if you need some more info let me know and I shall develop my thoughts further.

The landlords are back from the Florida...'the grass is always greener'...yeah right! more like 'there is no place like home'!!
I wonder what happened there, what would make someone leave an idillic place? may be the fact that it is the same crap wherever you are...i know i have been there.
Anyway the fact is that they are coming back and want to sell the house so the tenants need to leave....in two and a half months...what about baby? and the rest? Could they not have waited another five or six years? Not an unreasonable request. So we need to find a new place to live. Why not buy a house? Which is best renting or buying? Lets look on the internet. What?? House prices to crash? You can borrow money at different rates? Why aren't things simpler?

Here are the potential houses:

Number one:
mainBeautiful inside

Number two:
Frontthe estate agent said: just a little of TLC is needed....

Yes you might have guessed we went for the TLC one....what about baby??? 'We'll be able to do it all little by little.'

Keep posted then!!!

The big city will obviously have to wait...

And finally it is done!

After many excuses the work is now nearly done, only a few things to go through and it should be all ready for the deadline.
I mean the week end is supposed to be two days of rest and no work at all, otherwise why would we have the two days off?
Some people think that those two days are there so they can do the jobs they did not complete during the week. One word people (or two) Time management!
I think we need to try as much as possible to make time for ourselves and the ones we love (blah blah blah).
Anyway need to finish off the task at hand, deadline and all that

An explanation

After many umming and aring (i think this is how you write it) I have decided to create a blog. I don't really know what to expect from this really.

The reason for this title stems from an incident that occured yesterday while shopping.

I am walking around the suit section at the local department store (50%!! no way i wasn't going to get one), an old gentleman, lincolnshire version of Huggy Bear (at least the trousers did), stops and admires the very nice Alexandre suits (£400 a piece...nice too).
He seems to like the suit and he is feeling its very soft material all of a sudden he shouts : "You 'd have to be an immigrant to afford that suit!"
He then glances over his shoulder to find me trying a jacket on...
My wife would say that had this incident happened a few years ago i would have been extremely annoyed and would have said (done?) something to the guy.
But yesterday I realised that i was not affected but what the guy had said. Not that i didn't think that what he said was offensive, does he know what an immigrant is? shall I highlight to him the differences between the types of immigration?
My wife thinks that he was just a very unhappy man as he didn't look like he could afford much.
I just ignored the comment and carried on trying my very nice suit. At the till my wife asked what i thought about what he'd said. I said i wasn't really bothered and we just laughed about it.
Why should it bother me anyway?
